PIC change charge price increases 50¢
Effective December 31, 2005, the charge for you to
change your interLATA long distance service provider, commonly referred to as a
presubscribed primary interexchange carrier (PIC), will increase from $5.00 to
$5.50. The PIC change charge recovers the costs to manually process your change
in long distance service provider. This increase is a result of new pricing
regulation put in place by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC). To keep
the intraLATA PIC change charge consistent with the interLATA PIC change charge,
it, too, will increase to $5.50 on December 31. |
